About Us

Founded in 1966, the Kenya National Association of Social Workers (KNASW) is the largest membership  organization of professional social workers in Kenya. The Association was later Registered with the Registrar of Societies under section 10 of Societies Act on 25th November, 1997.

KNASW works to enhance the individual and collective professional growth and development of its members, create and maintain professional standards and advance sound social policies.
